Gold surges after RUS and UKR planning 'second round' of talks




 
Negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegates in Belarus is over. Following the 6-hour meeting, Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the head of the President's Office,  stated that no details of the negotiations would be made public before the parties issue a joint communique, in line with international conventions, including the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. He also noted that there will be a ‘second round of talks’. In addition, pictures showing that a huge Russian convoy is heading towards Kyiv increased the tensions again, directing the demand to the precious metals, esp. Gold. Technically, upper line of the ascending channel indicating 1898 is a support below and unless this level is broken downwards, 1928 and 1942 will be the new targets. On the other side, 1884 will be significant support below 1898.
