DOW30 Continues its Losses After the US Enters Recession

The US economy has officially entered recession. According to data from the US Department of Labor's Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the DOW30 index struggled to find demand, while the gross domestic product (GDP) contracted %0.6 in the second quarter compared to the previous quarter, confirming the country's entry into recession. In addition, hawkish statements by influential members of the US Federal Reserve (FED) against high inflationary pressures in the last few days continue to have an impact on the index. From this point of view, the DOW30 index, which maintains the selling pressure with the channel movement on the fourth trading day of the week, can carry its loosening up to 28 900 support if it passes below the 29 150 level permanently. 29 640 – 29 870 resistances can be observed in upward attempts.
